A person injured last week in a traffic crash in Harrison has died.
According to the report from the Arkansas State Police, 77-year-old Judy Taylor of Harrison passed away Tuesday at Cox South Hospital in Springfield after being a passenger in a vehicle that crashed on Highway 43 East at Osburn Drive last Friday.
The report indicates that the vehicle, driven by 69-year-old Risa Evans, also of Harrison, left the highway, struck a culvert, then overturned. Evans was also injured in the crash and taken to Cox South for treatment.
The Harrison Police Department along with ASP worked the accident that occurred around 1:30 last Friday afternoon.
402 people have now died in traffic crashes worked by the Arkansas State Police in 2023.
