A crash in northern Boone County leaves one dead and one injured early Friday afternoon.
According to the report from the Arkansas State Police, a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Michael Levi Rogers of Omaha was eastbound on Highway 14 east of Omaha when it crossed the centerline and hit a vehicle driven by 70-year-old Diane Webber of Lead Hill.
Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene by a member the Boone County Coroner's Office while Webber was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment of her injuries.
This is the 101st fatality in traffic accidents worked by the Arkansas State Police in 2023.
