Officials with the National Weather Service along with area Emergency Managers are reminding residents to be cautious with the upcoming winter storm.
Posts from Branson Fire-Rescue and the Western Taney County Fire Protection District are among the many agencies reminding residents of tips including making sure cell phones are charged and vehicles fueled, checking detectors in the home, and have supplies both at home and in vehicles in case of emergency. They also remind residents of the safe use of space heaters, making sure they are at least three feet away from anything combustible.
