The National Weather Service issues a report with data showing November already in the Top 10 for the wettest single month in Harrison.
The information released by the NWS Office in Little Rock shows Harrison has recorded 13.4 inches of rain so far in November. That is the 10th wettest month since monthly records were kept beginning in 1892. Another half inch of rain would push the record up two spots from previous marks set in May of 1920 and July of 1905.
The wettest month on record was in May of 1961 when Harrison received 16.87 inches of rain.
