Branson Mayor Larry Milton announces at Tuesday's Board of Aldermen meeting a day next week to honor a longtime Branson attraction owner.
In a release from the City, it is announced that Friday November 19 will be Glenn Robinson Grand Country Day.
In the proclamation, Mayor Milton recognizes how important Glenn Robinson’s properties, complex, theatre and businesses are to establishing Branson as a year-round destination and the importance of the Grand Country Music Hall to Branson.
Several guests during an October interview on KRZK's "The Upside" Program including Grand Country General Manager and Emcee Mike Patrick announced that the City was going to recognize Robinson, who first bought the property that is now the Grand Country Complex in 1976.
Mayor Milton says in presenting the proclamation that Robinson's business has been at the forefront of helping to make Branson a year-round tourist destination.
