"Second Chances" follows the journey of three young people who face the need for a second chance
"Second Chances" author and North Arkansas College professor Terry Bolin appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" to talk about his book. The characters need a second chance from God. They form an army and go on a meaningful mission.
Bolin explained that he's a longtime fan of Tolkien and "Game of Thrones." His inspiration for the book was birthed from life experience.
He said over the years he has seen students face confidence, anger and self-worth issues. Bolin explained that the characters' challenges are connected to those issues. He said another theme in the book is God's glory.
The author said he wanted to present the glory of God in a way that's woos rather than bashes. Bolin's book is available online. He has two additional books ready to publish.
More was discussed on the broadcast. The full interview with Bolin is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
