Harrison Chamber of Commerce/CEO Jeff Nielson says Provalus is on track for a 2027 opening in downtown.
Nielson, during a conversation Friday on KHOZ's "Around the Table" program, said with the contract now taken care of, the company is working on a design for their location on North Main Street which will take around three to four months before the city will build it out to those specifications followed by the company bringing the equipment to finish the project. Nielson said the construction and furnishing should take seven to nine months which would put the completion of the project in February or March of next year.
It was announced last year that Provalus, an information technology company that provides IT services for smaller communities and rural areas, would invest around $1 million in a facility in Harrison that expects to create around 150 jobs over a five-year period.
Nielson talked about upcoming events including Business After Hours events coming up this Thursday at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in conjunction with the opening of the new Urology Center then on Friday at the Hotel Seville for the opening of their new Bar and Grill.
