Newton County Sheriff Glenn Wheeler is asking for the public's help in the investigations of fires that may have been deliberately set this past weekend.
In a social media post, Sheriff Wheeler says multiple had been reported on Saturday and evidence on the scene suggested they may have been set by one or more individuals.
Sheriff Wheeler is asking individuals to be observant and report any suspicious vehicles or activities such as unattended fires to the Newton County Sheriff's Office. There number is 870-446-5124
