A new car show is scheduled for Nov. 15 at Harrison's Plants Etc., according to Tris Gelvin of A First Name Basis, an in-home care company.
Gelvin joined Mandy Magness and Amanda Lindsey on KHOZ's *"Around The Table"* to discuss the veteran-focused event. The show will start at 12 p.m., with judging from 2 to 4 p.m. The day will conclude with an optional car cruise.
The event is expected to attract people interested in cars and flowers. It may also serve to introduce potential clients to A First Name Basis.
Lindsey, an area manager for the company, said the Harrison location opened in May. The business provides support to disabled and elderly clients, offering services described as "non-skilled nursing."
Gelvin said the car show is organized in partnership with Legacy Hospice and sponsored by Magness Toyota.
