After District 4 State Representative Jack Fortner announced he would not seek re-election in 2024, Jason Nazarenko of Cotter has announced his candidacy for Fortner’s seat.
Nazarenko tells KTLO in Mountain Home that he wanted to run for the seat to try to follow Fortner’s good work and to pour his efforts into the community and the surrounding area. Nazarenko says he will work with officials and citizens in both Baxter and Marion counties to represent them in Little Rock.
More on the story including an interview with Jason Nazarenko can be found on the KTLO Website.
