The annual salute to the men and women who serve and protect begins in Branson.
The 12th Annual National Law Enforcement Week Event goes through Friday and will again have a series of activities and events honoring law enforcement officers visiting from around the country.
Among the annual events taking place are "Light Parade" of vehicles coming up on Thursday at the Branson Landing with Motorcycle Training and Competition the following two days at the TJ Maxx Parking Lot off of Branson Hills Parkway.
Several attractions and shows also have special ceremonies and events honoring officers during the week.
