The Lyric Theatre will present the play "Nana's Naughty Knickers" on its stage this week.
Debbie Cranfield Waters, the director, and Kelly Petri Goodwin appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" to discuss the show. Waters said it follows Nana who's an 83-year-old lady. This lady, the director said, "has aged gracefully" but hasn't "grown up."
Waters explained that Nana has experience working in the lingerie business. After her husband passes away, she makes a decision to focus her retirement time to making money by making lingerie for senior citizens.
Goodwin plays the role of a client, Claire, who places a hefty order. Nana has to be outsourced it due to time constraints. The order sent back to her belongs to someone else.
The show starts at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are available for purchase at the door and online.
