An area man charged in the Capital Riot scheduled for sentencing hearing.
According to a story from KTLO, documents filed Monday in federal court in the District of Columbia show the attorney for a Flippin resident, who was arrested in connection with the January 6 U.S. Capitol riot, has requested a “short sentence of probation” along with $500 restitution.
40-year-old Jon Thomas Mott pled guilty in late November 2022 to a single charge of violating parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building.
Mott’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for April 26 at 2 EST.
