With classes getting underway this week, another reminder about changes in traffic patterns around Harrison Middle School.
The City of Harrison releases a map with the specifics of the traffic pattern changes due to the closure of Goblin Drive from the Middle School to near Industrial Park Drive. Speer Drive to Burls Way is the detour with traffic patterns changed for bus and school traffic as indicated by the map.
In a recent interview on KHOZ's "Around the Table" program, Harrison Police Chief Chris Graddy and Sgt. Roger Grisham stated that regular through traffic should avoid this area during school drop-off and pick-up times and also reminded motorist just needing to connect between Industrial Park and Capps Roads that nearby Highway 397 provides a direct route.
The Goblin Drive Road work includes the adding of a roundabout to eventually help with traffic control in that area.
