A motorcyclist is facing new charges weeks after being arrested on similar charges.
The complete release below is from the City of Harrison:
Harrison Police Chief Chris Graddy reports, on Friday, Nov. 1, at approximately 12:07 p.m. a motorcyclist fled from a Harrison Police officer on Industrial Park Road. The suspect, 29-year-old Robert Culver Jr. of Omaha, reached speeds of over 80 mph and passed other vehicles in the left turn lane.
An officer partially blocked the road at Industrial Park Road and State Highway 397 intersection to slow the motorcycle. Culver
continued onto Airport Road, driving excessively and passing vehicles in no-passing zones. Culver continued to flee from officers southbound on U.S. Highway 65. At the intersection of Walmart Drive, Culver drove into the northbound lanes into oncoming traffic. Officers again attempted to block the motorcycle, but Culver drove around the block. As Culver drove around the block, another officer rammed the motorcycle, terminating the pursuit. Culver was taken into custody. Culver was treated and released at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center for minor injuries. Culver was transported to the Boone County Jail, where he was incarcerated with charges of felony fleeing, reckless driving, and other traffic violations. Culver is being held on a $50,000.00 bond.
On Sept. 18, Culver had been charged with felony fleeing and felony endangering the welfare of a minor by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office for fleeing from a Deputy Sheriff on a motorcycle with a 3-year-old child passenger. Culver had been released from jail after posting a $25,000 bond and was awaiting trial on those charges.
