The Director of the Harrison Parks and Recreation Department provides more information on the department and on the recently opened Creekside Community Center.
Chuck Eddington, along with Donna Braymer from the city, stopped by KHOZ’s "Around the Table" program to talk about Creekside. Eddington, who had updated the Harrison Parks Commission recently on Creekside membership, added that the city is now selling Day Passes for $8 per day.
Braymer also added that members of surrounding communities from both Arkansas and Missouri are welcome to visit the center and are charged the same amount as Harrison residents. Braymer said that idea came from Mayor Jerry Jackson who said that it is a way to thank visitors who have shopped and spend money in the city which helped generate the revenue to support the building of the center.
