The new superintendent of the Branson School District is happy with the direction of the school entering his first year in the position.
Dr. Nate Moore, during an interview on Tuesday's "Ozarks Now" program on KRZK, said things have been moving along as the district prepares for the first day of classes on August 20. Dr. Moore moved into the position in July after the retirement of Dr. Brad Swofford. Moore had been an assistant superintendent in the district since 2020 after spending the previous eight years as superintendent at Mansfield.
Moore said one of the top priorities will be to continue the development of an Early Childhood Center for the District adding that many districts has used these centers to help prepare students for Kindergarten as well as help fill the regions need for child care.
