A long-time member of both the Harrison City Council and School Board announces he will seek to become the City's next Mayor.
During a visit to KHOZ's "Around the Table" program, Mitch Magness announces his intention to run for the office being vacated by Jerry Jackson at the end of the year. Jackson announced earlier this year that he would not seek a third term in office.
The Harrison native said during the conversation with ATT hosts Dan Reynolds and Ann Lemley that his perspective serving on those two boards plus his work experience in several businesses and jobs can help guide the city in the future. He also cites his volunteer efforts in many groups and organizations as a plus.
The complete interview can be found on the Around the Table Facebook Page.
