A memorial honoring military members that were killed during 9/11 has traveled to Springfield from Arizona.
According to an OzarksFirst report, the memorial is meant to remember “these men and women and help the families impacted by these lost lives grieve.” The memorial will include personal and military pictures.
Darin Hargis is Commander of American Legion Post 639. “This memorial, there’s basis with towers, and on these towers, there are banners to hang on the side of the towers that will have pictures and names of those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice,” Hargis said.
It is expected to be in Springfield until Monday.
