The latest edition of the Missouri Department of Conservation Podcast includes more information on the upcoming Hunting Seasons.
Stone County Agent Dan Akin reminds Hunters that the first season coming up, Dove Season, begins on September 1 with the Archery Deer Season to get started on the 15th.
Also, both recreational use and fishing on the area Corps Lakes including Table Rock has been rough due to high water temperatures but the cooler waters of Lake Taneycomo has provided some good opportunities for fishing.
Akin also highlights an upcoming Nature Walk for Women at the Busiek State Forest on September 3 on the podcast that can be heard below:
