A Marion County woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday evening in Boone County.
The Arkansas State Police (ASP) have identified the victim as 52-year-old Melissa Rogers of Peel. The driver of the second vehicle, a 17-year-old male whose name and hometown were not listed on the report, was taken to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield for treatment of injuries.
According to the ASP report, the crash happened when Rogers’ vehicle crossed the centerline in a curve and struck the other vehicle head-on.
The accident occurred on State Highway 14, just east of Omaha at 5:40 Monday evening.
