A Marion County woman is accused attempting to convince her teenage daughter to stay silent with her allegations of the mother’s boyfriend inappropriately touching her last year.
39-year-old Amber Woods was booked and released from the Marion County Law Enforcement Center Friday on a charge of tampering.
According to the probable cause affidavit from an investigator with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office posted by KTLO, the Arkansas Crimes Against Children Division received a hotline report last September of a 17-year-old female being touched inappropriately by her mother’s boyfriend at their residence in Bull Shoals on two occasions. After the first incident, nothing was done while after the second, Woods allegedly asked the victim not to tell anyone.
Woods’ bond was set at $2,500.
More details on the story can be found on the KTLO Website.
