A bridge in Marion County has reopened to traffic.
According to a report from KTLO, The Moccasin Creek Bridge on Marion County Road 8060 has officially reopened for daily travel following months of emergency repairs, county officials announced Wednesday.
Marion County Judge Jason Stumph expressed gratitude to residents for their patience and encouragement during the project, which faced delays due to severe weather. Stumph said, “After several months of challenging conditions, the Marion County Road Department has worked diligently to complete semi-permanent repairs to the Moccasin Creek Bridge.”
The final walk-through of the bridge was completed Wednesday morning, signaling the end of a repair process aimed at restoring the vital route for local commuters and emergency services.
