Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander reports the arrest of 35-year-old Steven Manson of Yellville on several Felony charges resulting from two reported incidents.
The arrest stems from an investigation into allegations that Manson raped a minor female victim in November and had threatened the minor female victim and another adult female with a firearm in December according to the release from the department.
On December 4, the minor female victim was brought to the Marion County Sheriff's Office where she was interviewed by investigators. The victim was later forensically interviewed at Grandma's House Child Advocacy Center in Mountain Home, detailing her rape by Manson. It was also reported that Manson had later threatened the victim and an adult female with a gun.
Manson is currently in the Marion County Detention Center on bonds totaling $350,000.
