A Marion County man is facing multiple charges for inappropriately touching a teenage girl last year. The Flippin man, 46-year-old Jeremy Earl Cox, was arrested Dec. 23.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Cox inappropriately touched the girl twice, once when she was 16 and once when she was 17. Both times occurred while the victim was sleeping and Cox came into her room.
The victim says Cox told her not to tell her mom of it would be “really bad.”
Cox is identified as the victim’s mother’s boyfriend. The victim told investigators after the second incident in September, her mother asked her not to tell anyone.
Cox is facing two felony counts of sexual assault in the second degree and two felony counts of stalking in the second degree. He is being held in the Marion County Detention Center on $25,000 bond.
