A Marion County man was arrested after assaulting his mother during an argument.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence in response to domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, deputies met 47-year-Jason Storm who stated he and his mother got into an argument over a leaking sink. He stated his mother got mad when he went to fix it, but asked her to cover the costs.
Storm’s mother told authorities when she and Storm were arguing, he pushed her down where she hit her head, causing a laceration on her left eyebrow.
Storm was charged with aggravated assault on a family member and booked into the Marion County Detention Center. He was released on $2,500 bond.
