A man involved in theft and a high speed pursuit that went through Missouri and Arkansas has been caught.
Information released by the Howell County Sheriff's Office indicate that 32-year-old Adam Bartlett, Jr. was taken into custody into custody on Thursday and is currently being held without bond in the Howell County Jail.
Bartlett was suspected of stealing a car in West Plains on October 4th then two days later, he was spotted in Mountain Home and a pursuit involving Mountain Home Police along with the Baxter County Sheriff's Office and Arkansas State Police began with speeds between 90 and 100 MPH. Bartlett eventually fled into Missouri where the State Highway Patrol and Ozark County Sheriff's Office took over. Bartlett evaded capture and eventually made his way into Taney County where he reportedly stole another vehicle.
Bartlett is facing several felony charges in relation to these incidents.
