A Kimberling City man is in jail after fleeing a traffic stop by jumping off the Highway 13 Bridge into Table Rock Lake.
According to the release from the Stone County Sheriff's Office, deputies attempted to stop the vehicle on the north side of Kimberling City with the vehicle then speeding through the city before driving onto the bridge, abandoning the vehicle and diving off the bridge into the lake. After a search by deputies and Southern Stone County Firefighters, the suspect, Gavin Lundgren, was located and resisted arrest, injuring three deputies before being taken into custody.
Lundgren is facing six charges, including a Felony Charge of Resisting Arrest. He is being held without Bond in the Stone County Jail.
