A man from Louisiana has died in a traffic crash involving a motorcycle and a pick-up truck in Boone County.
According to the report from the Arkansas State Police, a motorcycle driven by 62-year-old Richard Zaunbrecher was following a pickup truck when the motorcyclist failed to obey traffic control signals and tried to change lanes, clipping the back of the pickup truck and losing control of the motorcycle. Zaunbrecher was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver of the pickup was not injured according to the report.
373 people have died in traffic crashes reported to the Arkansas State Police in 2024.
