The man who committed several crimes in Carroll County over a two-day period in May is going to receive a mental evaluation.
That was the decision that came out of a hearing in Eastern Carroll County Circuit Court Monday on William Rose, who was arrested for an attempted break-in in Eureka Springs on May 9.
According to a previous report, Rose attempted to hang himself in the Carroll County Detention Center after which the following day, he attacked an officer and medical personnel at Mercy Hospital in Berryville and briefly escaped before being re-captured.
The case has been suspended pending the completion of the evaluation with the next court hearing set for September 22.
