One person is dead, and two others are injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 14 in Yellville.
According to the crash report filed by the Arkansas State Police, the crash occurred Friday evening just before 7:00 when a vehicle driven by 80-year-old Clarence Smith crossed the centerline and collided with a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Tiffany Hayworth.
Smith died in the crash while Hayworth and a minor child in the vehicle were injured and taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home for treatment.
This is the 270th fatality in traffic crashes reported to the Arkansas State Police in 2025.
