A man has died when his Experimental Plane hit a house after take-off near Golden Thursday afternoon.
Information provided to Ozarks Dynacom by witnesses near the scene indicated that the plane had gone down moments after take-off from the Table Rock Airport and that emergency personnel responded to the scene moments after the crash.
Barry County Sheriff Danny Boyd confirmed to the Associated Press that 53-year-old Kenneth Phillip Taylor of Golden was the pilot of the plane and that he died in the crash.
Boyd also stated that the the flight was Taylor's first solo flight and that the plane struck part of a near-by home before crashing.
