A Boone County man has died of injuries he sustained in a collision during the early morning hours of August 27.
According to the updated report from the Arkansas State Police, a vehicle tried to pass a tractor trailer truck driven by 55-year-old Eric Rogers of Harrison on Highway 412 in rural Carroll County in a no passing zone when the vehicle hit a semi coming from the other direction then hit Rogers truck forcing it off the highway where it overturned. Rogers was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. Rogers recently died from those injuries according to the report.
Neither drivers of the other vehicles were injured and were not identified in the report.
