A man facing charges for stealing a vehicle from a person who had died is now facing charges for her death.
According to a release from Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander, 49-year-old Jimmy Liverett of Yellville is facing five charges including Capital Murder.
On November 14 of 2025, the body of 73-year-old Dena Andrews was found near her home in Marion County a day after she had been reported missing. Law enforcement tracked her vehicle to Missouri where Liverett was found in a motel room in Strafford two days later.
Alexander says evidence pointed to Liverett as the person who killed Andrews and on Tuesday, he was arrested without incident and taken to the Marion County Detention Center where he is being held without bond.
