Link Academy Basketball Championship Parade Wednesday

The public is invited to a celebration of the Link Academy National Basketball Championship team.

A Parade of Champions will take place at the Branson Landing. The parade will begin at the north end of the landing near Belk’s and proceed to the fountains where players for the team will meet the public and be available for autograph.

The Link Academy Lions, in their second year of play as part of the Link Prep Program operating out of Camp Kanakuk, won the GEICO National Championship Tournament in March a year after finishing as runner-up. Among Link’s other highlights this season was winning the Bass Pro Shops Tournament of Champions in Springfield.
