Kansas Woman Dies in Newton County Crash

A traffic crash in Newton County late Friday afternoon kills a woman from Kansas.

According to the report from the Arkansas State Police, Louis Gabriel Rebeck was driving his motorcycle on Arkansas State Highway 21 near Mosseville when he failed to negotiate a curve, left the highway and struck a guardrail. Rebeck was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. 

Conditions were clear and dry at the time of the crash. 198 people have died in traffic crashes reported to the Arkansas State Police in 2024.
