
Summer brings fun activities to the Boone County Library this month.
Terry Register and Madison Ramsey from Boone County Library appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" to discuss that and more. First, the summer reading program remains active. She said that the last day to turn in reading logs is July 26.
Activities run at the library four days a week. Some of the children's activities are listed below:
Cup weaving - July 3
Arkansas Game and Fish - Colorful fishing lures - July 7
Roll a Picaso - art project - July 8
Storytime with Ms. Irene - Thursdays at 10 a.m. Register said the library will host a goodbye time because Irene is retiring. The last day of her program is July 24 at 10 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to come say hello to Irene and wish her a good retirement.
Ramsey discussed the library's adult activities. Some of those are listed as follows.
Bracelet making - July 7
80s and 90s trivia night - July 8
Steps in Our Streets walk - July 9
Evening book club - July 10
Earlier in the broadcast, Register said the library will close for July 4 and reopen on July 5. More was discussed during the broadcast.
