During a Harrison City Council Meeting Tuesday night, City Leaders decide on a replacement for outgoing City Clerk Jeff Pratt.
According to a release on the city’s Facebook page, James White was the unanimous selection of the council to assume the clerk’s role.
White was one of three finalists for the position that were heard at the City Council Committee Meeting earlier this month. Austin Wilson and Mike Woods were the others that were considered for the position.
Though not specified in the release, White will soon take over for Pratt, who submitted his resignation in August but was staying on until the new clerk was selected. White will fill Pratt’s unexpired term until November of next year when the office will be up for election.
