A man dies after falling off a roof Friday Morning.

An investigation is underway following the fatal fall of a Yellville man off a residential roof. Sixty-eight-year-old Steven Loy Davenport was pronounced dead at the scene Friday morning by the Marion County coroner.
According to Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander, deputies were dispatched to a residence south of Yellville at MC 5040 after 911 dispatch received a call just before 7:45. The caller stated an individual had fallen off a roof, was badly injured and needed immediate assistance.

Davenport had reportedly been working on the roof of the residence that morning. First responders from Yellville and Ralph-Caney and a Baxter Health ambulance were dispatched to the residence.
The scene has been processed, and the investigation is on-going.
