How Can the Northwest Regional Housing Authority Help Potential Homeowners?

The Northwest Regional Housing Authority offers several programs to help individuals and families obtain suitable housing.

The organization has two offices in Harrison, the main office on Sisco Ave. and the annex office on Industrial Park Road.

Robin Britten and Deborah Ellis represented each office during a Tuesday visit to KHOZ's "Around the Table" program.

Ellis, who works out of the annex office, talked about the programs they administer in partnership with U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development Program. Ellis says many of the programs are designed to help people both purchase homes and also to improve their current homes.

Britten works out of the main office and says the programs she deals with Housing Assistance for Renters that can also transition into potential home ownership.

More information on the programs will be available during an Open House on Wednesday at the Annex Office at 317 Industrial Park Drive between 1:00 and 3:00 pm.

The full interview can be found on the "Around the Table" Facebook Page.
