The last three days of summer will feel like the middle of summer with a wave of hot weather settling into the Lakes Region.
National Weather Service Forecasters say temperatures will be in the mid 90’s for most of the region and heat index readings could reach around 100. While a report last week showed continued moderation in the drought conditions, no rain is in the forecast for this week.
Fall will arrive on Thursday and cooler temperatures are expected that day in the upper 70’s to low 80’s.
