Highway South of Harrison Closed this week for Road Work

The Arkansas Department of Transportation announces a road closure this week near Harrison.

The release from ARDOT is below:

Highway 206 south of Harrison is scheduled to close around the clock from 8:30 a.m. Monday, November 3, through 2:30 p.m. Friday, November 7, to allow crews to replace a box culvert.

Weather permitting, a portion of Highway 206 east of Highway 7 will be closed to allow crews to replace a box culvert between Whispering Pine Road South and Prairie View Road South. Highway 206 will remain open to local traffic only on either side of the closure.

Digital message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage will be in place to notify motorists of the closure.

To reach the west side of the closure, take Highway 206 east to Highway 65, travel north to Highway 7, take Highway 7 south to Highway 206.
To reach the east side of the closure, take Highway 206 west to Highway 7, travel north to Highway 65, take Highway 65 south to Highway 206.
