The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is temporarily closing the swim beaches at Lakeview, Oakland and Theodosia campgrounds on Bull Shoals Lake until further notice due to high water and debris.
According to a release from the corps, high water conditions can create significant safety hazards for visitors. Floating logs, trash and other debris may accumulate in these areas, and rising water levels may submerge picnic tables, grills and parking lots.
