Temperatures will ramp up again in the Lakes Region with the National Weather Service expected highs at 100 or better with Heat Index readings as high as 110.

A frontal system is making its way to the Ozarks. Isolated to scattered showers will be possible late this afternoon and this evening in the Lakes Region with areas east of a Branson-Springfield line at a Slight Risk for severe storms with the rest of the region at a Marginal Risk.

Strong winds and hail are the primary threats but with the storms being scattered, not all areas will see rain.

There will be a slight cool down on Thursday with highs back to the low to mid 90s.
