The old federal building sold to a local couple, according to Heath Kirkpatrick on Thursday.
Local Pastor Heath Kirkpatrick is a member of the Boone County quorum court; he appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" to talk about the sale and more. Kirkpatrick said the buyers have some history in reviving old buildings.
"It's going to be hip and trendy," Kirkpatrick said. The revived downtown building will have an eatery and more. The pastor said that it was bought for a "pretty good price."
Kirkpatrick said he's unsure of where the money received from the buyers goes. He added that he will have to examine the ledger to see. More was discussed on the broadcast.
The full interview with Kirkpatrick is available on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
