Harrison Woman Arrested for Making Threats

A Harrison woman has been arrested for assault on a household member and threatening officers.

According to the probable cause affidavit, on May 13, 29-year-old Samantha Sue Massey was arrested for assault on a household member and terroristic threatening.

Massey was transported to the Boone County Detention Center where authorities state she immediately became aggressively towards the officers. Three officers were in a room with Massey when she allegedly made an aggressive move towards them and had to be assisted to the controlling surface of the floor. While authorities were trying to maintain control of Massey she allegedly grabbed underneath an officers right elbow, pinched, twisted and refused to let go. The officer sustained redness, scratches and light swelling to the elbow and forearm.

Massey was then placed into a restraint chair and while officers were placing her into the chair, Massey allegedly stated “I’m going to kill you and after I kill you I’m going to stab your mom and bathe in her blood.”

Shortly after, officers were removing Massey from the restraint chair where she looked at one and stated, “If you so much as bat an eyelash at me, I will head-butt you so hard,” and then proceeded to state she would kill another officer and her family.

Detention officers then placed Massey into a holding cell where she attempted to kick them and charge out of the cell. While in her holding cell she then allegedly attempted to flood it by flushing her jail-issued blanket down the toilet.

She has been released from the Boone County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.
