Harrison Shooting Victim, Suspect Identified

The Harrison Police Department has released information on the victim and suspect in Friday's deadly shooting.

According to a statement by Chief Chris Graddy on the Harrison Police Department's Facebook Page, 23-year-old Michael Brewer of Harrison was taken into custody at the scene of the shooting that took the life of his father, 50-year-old Shawn Brewer also of Harrison. 

According to the post, Harrison Police Officers responded to a call of a shooting on Capps Road around 7:45 Friday morning. Officers found Shawn Brewer deceased and took Michael Brewer into custody with incident. 

Michael Brewer is being held without bond in the Boone County Detention pending the filing of capital murder charges.
