Harrison Police Department Arrest Tennessee Teen Suspects in Weapons Theft

A tip leads to the arrest of teen suspects in a firearm theft case in Tennessee.

Thursday, May 21st, 2026, the Harrison Police Department and the 14 th Judicial District Drug Task Force received information about two runaway juveniles from Tennessee who were en route to Harrison. They were in a white 2008 Toyota Tundra that had been stolen from Dover, TN. The Juveniles were suspects in the theft of stolen firearms from Benton County, Tennessee.

Officers with the Harrison Police Department and the 14 th Judicial District Drug Task Force stopped the vehicle on U.S. Highway 65 south near its intersection with Main Street. The juveniles were placed under arrest for theft by receiving and minor in possession of handguns. 14 firearms and the stolen Toyota were recovered with a property value of approximately $20,000.00.

The juveniles were transported to a juvenile holding facility and will be held for Tennessee authorities.
