A Harrison man is facing six felony charges for an incident earlier this month in which he pulled a loaded weapon during a traffic stop and also was in possession of illegal drugs.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed by the Harrison Police Department, 38-year-old Bryan Adam Hrnjak was pulled over by an officer during the early morning hours of December 19 when his vehicle was discovered not to have proper liability insurance. After the initial stop, the affidavit indicates that Hrnjak reached for a loaded handgun while the officer was returning to his patrol car. The suspect was ordered to drop the weapon. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of several illegal substances including methamphetamine.
Hrnjak is facing several charges including illegal possession of drugs and firearms and aggravated assault. He is currently in the Boone County Jail on a $75,000 bond plus being held for an outstanding warrant from Yell County on non-payment of court costs for an unrelated incident.
