A man from Harrison is facing charges from an incident at the end of last year.
According to court documents, 21-year-old Colton Watters is accused of fleeing from a traffic stop around the intersection of Maple and Bower on December 26. According to the probable cause statement filed by the Harrison Police Department, Watters was pursued by officers with speeds reaching 100 MPH and eventually ended on Arkansas Highway 392.
Watters, who had a suspended license due to a previous DUI, now faces another DUI Charge as well as fleeing charges and a minor in possession of alcohol. The incident occurred prior to Watters’ 21st birthday.
Watters was scheduled for a court appearance last week but no record of the appearance has been released with the session possibly postponed due to last week’s winter weather.
